Ramond Brigg's The Snowman. I love this movie. It is a great story, with a great soundtrack. We all want to be free and experience life beyond the limitations of this world, and enjoy ourselves in creating. This animated movie is a perfect example for this desire. The end is sad, but no one has to buy it. There is true freedom and happiness. Yet no one will ever find it outside of himself, or as a body identity. After seeing "August Rush" the other day, I learned about Kaki King, and also Michael Hedges. I think they are one of the most amazing musicians I ever heard. Of course, I like acoustic guitar very much, but those artists have a powerful expression that is truly exceptional. I don't know about Michael, but Kaki said, her inspiration came from going through her upsets. She finds her answers and healing in her music. Her music is her therapy. When I saw "August Rush", I was completely taken by her guitar play. Amazing. There is a God.
I wrote about it in my latest blog entry. Included are two songs, one by Kaki, one by Michael.

A truly amazing demonstration of the mental faculties we all have access to. The miracle of an idiot savant, or simply savant. How much of my brain am I using already?
It is all in the mind. It is all memory. Everything I think I see reflects ideas. That is the promise for everyone to go beyond our narrow confines of self-identity and limited self.

Squidoo has a new feature, called "The Ever Project". It invites you to create a lens about whatever you may call the best, the greatest, the dumbest, the smartest, the ugliest...
After a great day of happiness I signed up with the idea to try, if "The Greatest Message" is still available. And it was. I think you will like it for the sheer spontaneity it was set up. I really felt inspired to write. I really like the page.
